DirecTV’s internal innovation lab, named DLAB, was an incubator for next generation experiences.

I was asked to create a multi-platform VR and AR football co-viewing experience that integrated e-commerce and social communication.

“If you can think it, we can do it.” was the mantra that was continually repeated. And it’s true. VR allows for amazing branded 360 degree environments that are only limited by your own creativity.

Imagine if during a commercial break your viewing environment changed to a Budweiser themed sports bar, set inside of a bubble, floating inside a massive bottle of beer?

Or if using AR, imagine if after a touchdown that same player was doing his end zone dance in your living room?

The future is bright and I want in.
